Winter means frosts, wind, short wet days and few flowers at Sarnia Park, however, the garden has very strong bones so it still looks great.  We, like others, have experienced heavier than usual frosts which have their own beauty in the early morning as the sun comes up.  The boots belonged to some guests who went to the fieldays and they say it all really - Friday was especially wet. It is July now and the daffodil bulbs are just emerging with the promise of longer days and sunshine.  It is cosy inside with gas fires, panel heaters and under-floor heating.
