The Awanui Cherry trees which line both sides of the Cherry Blossom lawn are at their best in the last two weeks of September.  On a clear spring day they are magic. The Cherry Blossom trees beside the lake flower a little bit later and are at their best in early October with the tulips in the rose garden flowering a little later as well.
